Job description

As an R&D Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the research and development efforts. Based in Port Klang, Selangor, this full‑time position will allow you to contribute to the company's product innovations within the skincare and personal care industry.

What you'll be doing

• Lead innovation formulation from ingredient sourcing through lab prototyping, testing, costing, and manufacturing scale‑up.
• Drive troubleshooting and continuous improvement of formulations and processes.
• Ensure product safety, performance, stability, and compliance with Company quality standards.
• Lead and support scale‑up from prototype to commercial production in line with GMP requirements.
• Evaluate alternative raw materials and provide technical support on quality issues and investigations.
• Stay current with cosmetic and personal care technical trends; collaborate with suppliers on new technologies and innovations.
• Partner closely with Marketing on New Product Development to deliver innovative, market‑relevant solutions.
• Maintain accurate R&D documentation, regulatory records, and product information files in compliance with ISO, GMP, Halal, and NPRA requirements.
• Lead R&D laboratory operations and collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, QC, Procurement, and other departments.
