Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end product development projects, including idea generation, formulation review, and process optimization.
  • Manage innovation and renovation projects.
  • Conduct product trials, shelf-life studies, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to the Supply Chain team for plant troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global/regional R&D teams, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coach and supervise Technologists and Technicians to enhance technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Stay updated on food trends, innovative ingredients, and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and local Food Act & Regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for trials, formulations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support during trials and provide hands‑on support for manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing R&D, with hands‑on product development and ingredient formulation.
  • Familiarity with food processes, GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and local Food Act & Regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • No major food allergies; enjoys culinary work.
