Job summary

A prominent job portal in Malaysia is looking for a professional to prepare and deliver technical proposals and manage project execution. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years' experience in engineering sales or project management and strong communication skills. A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying is required. Knowledge of renewable energy and QS practices will be an advantage. Job description

Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.

Manage project planning, execution, and delivery in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.

Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales technical support.

Support cost estimation, budgeting, and tender preparation in line with QS standards.

Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare bill of quantities (BQ), and review contractor claims and variations.

Assist in contract administration and ensure project costs align with approved budgets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

2–5 years’ experience in engineering sales, project management, technical services,or quantity surveying within construction or engineering sectors(fresh graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply).

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of grid systems, power distribution, or renewable energy will be an advantage.

Understanding of QS practices including cost estimation, tendering, BQ preparation, and contract administration.

Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and project cost control processes is preferred.

Self-driven, analytical, and able to work independently.
