Siacon Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our dynamic team in Johor. As a full-time Quantity Surveyor Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all quantity surveying and cost management activities for our diverse range of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting feasibility studies, cost estimates, and budgets for new construction projects
• Preparing and evaluating tender documentation, including bills of quantities and contract agreements
• Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring they remain within budget
• Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on quantity surveying and cost-related matters
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and implementing effective cost control measures
• Preparing progress and final accounts, as well as financial reports for client and management review
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Chartered Surveyor status or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a quantity surveying role, preferably within the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, contract management, and cost control techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and other relevant computer applications
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
