Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join CASHLOTUS (M) SDN BHD as a Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this position offers the flexibility of a contract work arrangement.

This is an urgent vacancy, and candidates who are able to start immediately or within short notice will be given priority.

The contract may be extended subject to project extension and/or satisfactory individual performance.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analyzing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and construction budgets
• Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunitiesPreparing progress reports and providing regular updates to project stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant construction regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with the project management team to optimize workflow and resource allocation
• Providing technical support and advice to the construction team

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
