What you'll be doing

• Responsible for the construction projects by providing expert advice on cost management, procurement, and contractual matters
• Preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts
• Monitoring project costs and tracking variations, claims and final accounts
• Advising on procurement strategies and recommending the most cost-effective solutions
• Providing regular reports and updates to project managers and clients
• Supporting the tendering process and bid submissions

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• 3-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Executive in the construction industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software (Glodon) and MS Office suite
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Experience in M&E is a plus!
