Job summary

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of quantity surveying experience, with construction and interior fit-out experience.
  • Good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under high pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity take-off and measurements for tenders.
  • Prepare documents for inviting quotations, comparisons, and tender reports.
  • Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
  • Conduct risk and value management and cost control.
  • Attend site show rounds, tender briefs, interviews, and meetings as necessary.
  • Prepare cost estimation and procurement documents.
  • Compile and submit progress claims on time.
  • Check and prepare progress payment certificates for sub-contractors.
  • Assist in procurement duties and contractual matters.
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients.

The Job:
  • Perform quantity take-off and measurements for tenders
  • Prepare document for inviting quotations, prepare comparison, tender report
  • Prepare and analyze costing for tenders
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control
  • Attend site show rounds, tender briefs, tender interviews and meetings as and when necessary
  • Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off for materials procurement, cost evaluations, pre-qualification of sub-contractors
  • Prepare, compile and submit progress claims in a timely manner including updating payment records
  • Check & prepare progress payment certificates for all sub-contractors including site valuations with supervisors
  • Assist in procurement duties such as selection, comparison, review/verify unit rates, check Purchase Orders, etc
  • Assisting and advising in contractual matters such as the extension of time, contractual correspondences, etc
  • Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, clients, project team, in-house factories, etc, for project execution and cost control
The Person:
  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • At least 3 years of quantity surveying experience, with experience in construction and interior fit-out
  • Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office and good internet communication skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under high pressure
