  • Liaise with sub-contractors, clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • Monitor site progress with the project team.

Job description
Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-off, Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing for tenders and projects.

Request, review, and compare quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers for tendering purposes.

Prepare and compile all necessary tender submission documents within the given timeline.

Prepare variation orders (VO), ensuring accurate submission and timely approval.

Handle final claims and statements of account for both clients and sub-contractors.

Conduct design calculations and prepare technical drawings as required.

Involved in the preparation of tender BQ, tender documentation, project costing, and contract administration.

Check and verify claims submitted by sub-contractors, and negotiate pricing when necessary.

Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, consultants, and the internal project team.

Monitor and follow up on site progress with the project team.

Perform any other tasks or assignments as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with up to 3 years of working experience in quantity surveying or contract roles will have an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Computer literate with strong documentation and coordination skills.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
