Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our AWESOME team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • To take off quantities from the tender drawings.
  • To prepare pricing database and project documentation.
  • To work out the competitive rates for pricing in BQ.
  • To prepare and submit progress claim, final account to client.
  • To prepare valuation of subcontractors' progress claim.
  • To liaise with developers, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors on contract related matters.
  • To compile sample materials & shop drawings for submission and confirm with relevant consultants.
  • To prepare agreement with sub-contractors.
  • To prepare all the relevant document for tender purpose.
  • To follow up certificate of payment from Client / Consultants.
  • To manage and ensure final submission of tender and quotation.
  • To establish business relationship with new client and consultant to ensure our company being shortlisted for participation new project Tender.
  • Reviewing final draft before submission of tender.
  • Reviewing all contractual matters of the contract document and highlight material issues to Project Director/Manager.
  • Ensuring claims submitted by sub-contractors are accurate and no overpayment arises.
  • Compare prices and specifications.
  • Review and check pricing document during bid time and after award.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year in the same working scope (in construction / consultant firm).
  • Degree/Diploma in relevant field.
  • Fresh Graduate encourage to apply.
  • Negotiation with sub-contractors regarding the rate and make recommendations.
  • Empower to discuss contractual matters with sub-contractors, suppliers, consultant, client and make recommendations to Head of Contract Department.
  • Responsible, self-motivated, independent and able to work within tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of relevant building and contract laws.
