Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in QS/Contract administration.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimation, tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and progress claims.
  • Evaluate quotations, conduct cost analysis, and prepare tender/contract reports.
  • Administer and manage contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure compliance with budget.
  • Verify subcontractor claims, quotations, and payment certificates.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients on contractual and cost matters.
  • Assist in contract drafting, documentation, and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Support procurement process (sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors).
  • Handle contractual correspondence and maintain proper records.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Based in Johor / Klang Valley.
Required Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of working experience in QS/Contract administration.
  • Required language: English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia. Prerequisite proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
  • Possess own transportation and be willing to travel outstation as required.
Required Skills
  • Good knowledge of contract law, tendering process, and cost management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, or relevant QS software.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with expertise in cost calculations, estimations, and financial analysis, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in handling figures, contracts, and documentation to ensure accuracy and prevent costly errors.
  • Good knowledge of contracts, procurement, and construction practices.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to propose practical and effective solutions for cost and contractual issues.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, effective in dealing with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
