• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply.

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
• Handling progress claims and site valuation.
• Negotiating and managing contracts with stakeholders.
• Monitoring project expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Job description

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Taking-off and preparation of Bill of Quantities for Aluminum & Glazing Works
• Handle progress claim, site valuation, variation orders and preparation of final account
• Negotiating and managing contracts with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring project expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Providing regular financial forecasts to project managers
• Assisting with the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the management from time to time

What we're looking for

• Diploma/ Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction-focused discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply)
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations
• Proficient in using MS Office applications
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Both oral and writing)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects successfully
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve cost-related issues
