A project management firm based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an individual adept at handling quantity take-offs, material estimates, and project administration tasks. The successful candidate will prepare tender documents, monitor project costs, and coordinate with suppliers. Efficient handling of documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards is essential. Responsibilities

  • Prepare quantity take-off, material estimates, and Bill of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimates, quotations, and procurement comparisons.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors for price enquiries, negotiation and cost compilation.
  • Monitor project cost control, budget tracking, and identify cost variances.
  • Prepare and verify progress claims, subcontractor claims, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Conduct site measurements, verify work done, and check project progress for claims/certification.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing Variation Orders (VOs) and contract documentation.
  • Maintain and update project documentation such as drawings, reports, purchase orders, agreements and filing.
  • Coordinate between site team, consultants, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Arrange and assist with site visits, meetings, schedules and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports and documentation required by clients/management.
  • Handle general project administrative tasks including correspondence, data entry, and document control.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company procedures, safety, and quality requirements.
