Job summary

A leading Electronic Manufacturing Services provider in Kedah is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for managing quality throughout the product life cycle. The candidate will oversee inspections, conduct audits, and develop quality procedures. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing are required. Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork are essential. This role is located in Sungai Petani.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably in PCB assembly or SMT.
• Knowledge of 8D methodology is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality assurance of the whole product life cycle.
• To identify failures and implement corrective actions and follow-up.
• Oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
• Responsible for the on-site audit of customers, audit checklist and follow up the closure of non conformities.
• Drive quality issues resolution through the 8D process, traceability/commonality analysis.
• Responsible for the review and backtracking of customer complaints.
• Develop quality procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of quality issues complaints.
• Plan and perform reliability test.
• Plan and develop test methodology of reliability testing of the product.
• Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development.
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Quality, Reliability or equivalent).
• At least 3 - 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing experience in PCB assembly or SMT related industry.
• Experience in Electronics/SMT/PCBA industry highly preferred.
• 8D methodology knowledge and experience highly preferred.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Possess teamwork and strong interpersonal skill.
• Aggressive and possess the drive to achieve company goals within the stipulated timeline.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
