Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Executive. The role involves ensuring effective implementation of the Quality Management System, conducting audits, and quality control processes. Candidates should possess a relevant Diploma/Degree, preferably with 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, and a strong command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Positive attitude and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field.
• Preferable 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of basic ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effectiveness and implementation of company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control (IQC, IPQC, & OQC).
• Address all customer complaints and nonconformance issues, liaise with relevant parties and prepare necessary documents.
• Investigate root causes and troubleshoot product quality issues and improvements.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Participate in product development stage and coordinate with the team.
• Handle other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.
• Prepare quarterly and yearly KPI reports for QC operators and weekly reports for management review.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field.
• Preferable 2 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of basic ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
