Job description

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inspection records, quality-related documents, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Use caliper to measure dimensions of product and determine pass/fail.
• Effectively and efficiently distribute, control, record, and update documentation according to ISO standards.
• Work with the production/sales department on quality issues and customer feedback.
• Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (internal, supplier, customer, and customer warranty).
• Provide immediate feedback on any rejection found during inspection to the superior.
• Work towards achieving the company’s KPIs and departmental KPIs.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions and preventive actions to effect continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Understanding of IPQC processes, familiarity with ISO standards, basic quality tools, strong project management skills.
• Positive attitude to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in precision companies (preferred).
