Job summary

A leading plastic packaging manufacturer based in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to enhance their quality management systems and ensure ISO 9001 compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing of plastic bottles and a diploma or higher qualification. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing of plastic bottles.
• Preferably specialized in Quality Control or Assurance.

Job Responsibilities

• To develop quality management system to a standard level that can meet ISO 9001 requirement.
• To keep constant tracking on the requirements of all important requirements of corporate client.
• To set departmental objective setting for every year in full support of company’s overall objectives.
• To manage the function of Incoming Quality Control, In-Process Control and Outgoing Quality Control efficiently.
• To plan internal quality, GMP, environmental Safety and health assessment audits with audit team.
• To conduct internal audits and provide internal assessment done at all departments.
• To plan and conduct eternal Quality, GMP, Environmental, Safety and Health Audit at key suppliers’ premises and provide the required external audit reports.
• To keep proper control and responsive replies to all client’s Non-Conformance Complaints.
• To conduct training based on quality, productivity, GMP, work and motion study, 5S Housekeeping, disciplines good work ethics and other relevant requirements from time to time.
• Any other duties as and when required by the superior

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Manufacturing of Plastic Bottles is required for his/her position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quality Control / Assurance or equivalent.
