Job description

As a QA cum Halal Executive in a bakery manufacturing setting, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to the Halal requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the overall quality and safety of the bakery products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • Halal Compliance: Understand and stay updated on Halal certification requirements for bakery products. Ensure that all ingredients and processes comply with Halal standards. Coordinate with certification bodies to obtain and renew Halal certifications.
  • Documentation and Record‑Keeping: Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, inspections, and test results. Prepare and update documentation related to Halal compliance and certifications.
  • Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control and Halal requirements. Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure awareness of quality and Halal standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and address customer complaints related to quality or Halal concerns. Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance within the food industry, preferably in bakery manufacturing. Familiarity with Halal certification processes and requirements.
  • License/Certification: Halal Executive Certification (Required).
