Job summary

A multinational manufacturing company in Selangor seeks a qualified professional to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations. The candidate will manage EHS activities, support ISO audit processes, and oversee production standards. Job description

Responsible for ensuring no cross contamination occurs. He must ensure correct product is transferred from mixer tanks to the storage tanks based on the production work orders. He is responsible for reporting any incidents of cross contamination to his superior.

Promotes safety and assures that proper safety policies and procedures are being followed by all team members.

Lead the facility in maintaining the Integrated Management System for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 45001.

Perform Productivity projects. EHS monitoring activities and routine EHS reporting.

To participate in Corporate EHS meetings and programs and to provide training to all front line staff.

Responsible for the ISO audit, corporate EHS compliance audits and IH assessment.

Make sure the workplace is safe and clean. This includes reviewing and enforcing all GCP Occupational Safety and Health Environmental standards and policies.

Responsible for completing and filing all incident reports and accident reports and reporting all violations of safety and other policies.

He must ensure that the company's exposure to risk is minimized by following all safety regulations.

Generate COAs for finished goods. Ensure accuracy of test results and proper documentation before goods are released to customers.

Record and maintain production batch information in the QC Database to ensure traceability, compliance, and accurate reporting.

Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) for raw materials/services required in production.

Inspect and verify incoming raw materials against purchase orders and perform Goods Receiving (GR) for all raw materials/services received.

Conduct QC testing for finished goods (FG) and raw materials (RM). Execute laboratory and on-site testing protocols to evaluate product quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.

Oversee production processes to identify deviations, enforce corrective actions, and maintain consistent product standards. Provide real-time feedback to operators and supervisors to prevent defects and ensure efficiency

Support R&D team with samples preparation and testing for new product development and improvements.

Lead toolbox meetings to reinforce safety awareness by facilitating short, focused safety discussions with employees to highlight key risks, share best practices, and promote a culture of safety.

Assist in planning and coordinating employee with safety visits. Support the scheduling and execution of safety-related activities and visits, ensuring all employees actively participate in workplace safety programs.

Prepare and report monthly EHS reports into the EHS portal. Compile safety and environmental performance data and submit reports to management for compliance and continuous improvement.

Conduct monthly EHS Committee meetings and serve as Secretary to review safety performance and plan improvements. Record meeting minutes, track follow-up actions, and share updates across departments.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratory.

Well versed in Integrated Management System for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and ability to coordinate work with all parties and liaison with related local and government authority

The incumbent should be a team player with leadership, hand-on, initiative, drive and commitment, able to handle pressure and able to communicate with staff in different functions

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.

Proficient in SAP and MS applications

Good command in English, both written and spoken.

Must be a registered OSH-Coordinator in accordance with local regulatory requirement.
