Job summary

An established engineering company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a QC Inspector to support quality control activities and ensure all machined components meet customer specifications. This role is open to both fresh graduates and experienced candidates with a background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering. Key responsibilities include performing inspections of CNC machined parts, conducting visual inspections, and maintaining inspection records. The company values candidates who are detail-oriented and willing to learn.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates or experienced candidates are welcome.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes is an advantage.
  • Training will be provided for measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of CNC machined parts.
  • Conduct visual inspection and dimensional measurement.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records and quality reports.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
  • Support quality audits and continuous improvement activities.

Job description

We are an established engineering company specialising in CNC machining, CNC turning, CNC milling, finishing, and mechanical assembly.

We are seeking a QC Inspector to support our quality control activities and ensure all machined components meet customer specifications and quality standards.

This position is open to fresh graduates, and experienced candidates (priority) with relevant background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.

Key Responsibilities / Job Scope
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of CNC machined parts.
  • Conduct visual inspection and dimensional measurement according to engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.
  • Verify parts against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records, check sheets, and quality reports.
  • Identify, record, and report non-conformances and support corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production, CNC machinists, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure proper traceability and documentation of inspected parts.
  • Support quality audits and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist in finishing and assembly inspection when required.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes (turning, milling) is an advantage.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Familiar with basic measuring tools (training will be provided).
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
