Job summary

A leading company in the food industry in Puchong seeks a Quality Control (QC) Officer responsible for overseeing QC processes, preparing reports, and training staff. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and have at least one year of experience, preferably in the food industry. Knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and HALAL is advantageous. Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience.
  • Preferably with experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Fully in charge of QC sorting matters for P2, P3, P4, and P5.
  • Prepare and complete relevant QC reports for every batch of product.
  • Supervise QC officers and workers, assist them in managing daily tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Conduct QC training for workers from time to time.
  • Monitor and provide feedback or suggestions to the superior for improvement on QC-related matters.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Ensure all QC-sorted stocks are safely handed over to the inventory department.
  • Assist and coordinate with inventory personnel during stock-in and stock-out processes.
  • Conduct daily inspections on section environment, building, and tools to ensure compliance with standards and safety.
  • Prepare weekly QC reports.
  • Assist the data entry clerk, verify information, and ensure all internal documents are up to date.
