Job summary

A leading quality control company in Malacca is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee quality standards in inspections and testing. The role includes evaluating raw materials, approving or rejecting them based on quality, and managing documentation for audits. The ideal candidate should ensure the quality control process is maintained effectively throughout production phases.

• Monitor and responsible for the overall quality control in all stages of inspections and testing.
• Responsible for the visual and sensory evaluation of raw materials to ensure consistency.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards.
• Handle all FSSC documentations as well as internal and customer audits.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor and responsible for the overall quality control in all stages of inspections and testing (Pre-Production, In Process & Finished Product)
• Responsible in the visual and sensory evaluation of the raw materials (packaging, label, quantity, appearance, colour, odour, moisture) to ensure consistency and integrity
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards
• Responsible in checking the machine parameters, material code, formulas, tools and product flow
• Select output samples in each phase of processing and test them using appropriate methods
• Responsible and handle all FSSC documentations as well as internal and customer audits
• Troubleshoot and to solve the problem in accordance with company quality standard
• To maintain daily quality inspection report
• To check & ensure the personal hygiene of all workers in production
• To ensure that all the measurement equipment are calibrated as per the schedule as well as proper maintenance of the records
