Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QC Executive to join the dynamic team at Selayang Solder Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer in the Selangor region. In this full‑time, on‑site role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout our production processes.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting thorough inspections and quality checks on raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished products to identify and resolve any non‑conformities
• Documenting and reporting on quality control findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborating with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Carrying out testing and analysis to verify product compliance with internal and external quality standards
• Routinely preparing quality‑related reports such as SPC charts, monthly CP graphs, summary reports for finished goods, and GR&R
• Maintaining accurate quality control records
• Liaising with external bodies on equipment calibration requirements
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with ISO requirements related to QMS / EMS systems

What we’re looking for

• A diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or a relevant study
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Strong technical skills and a good understanding of quality control principles, methods, and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve quality issues
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
