A construction management firm in Penang is seeking a Project Coordinator to ensure the timely execution of projects. The successful candidate will coordinate various stakeholders, prepare quality plans, and ensure compliance with standards. A diploma in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in the QAQC department are required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for dealing with customers, consultants, and site supervisors.
To ensure that projects are executed according to schedule;
Coordinate & liaise with various related parties including customer, consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors and safety supervisors on site to ensure project requirements are met;
Coordinates with all project related personnel on day-to-day progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
Prepare Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan and Test Packages.
Actively attends the Site Progress/ Coordination Meetings.
Ensure Clients and QMS procedures, standards and guidelines are complied.
Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.
Reviews project documents & creates RFIs in a timely manner
Identify quality issues in the field and communicate them accordingly.
Actively assists Project Engineer with enforcement of site safety and IFW.
Assist with investigation of dangerous occurrence, accidents/ incidents and near misses at work site with Project Manager and Safety Team.
Candidate must possess at least diploma or above in relevant field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in QAQC department.
Preferable to candidate has experience dealing with customer, consultants, sub-contractors, site supervisors and safety supervisor.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
