Job Description

The Group QA/QC Manager will oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across multiple plants. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety. The Group QA/QC Manager will develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of inorganic chemicals (consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals).

  • Develop and maintain QA/QC systems and processes across all plants.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards and systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC teams across multiple plants.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and manage the development of the QA/QC staff.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process/product issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and methodologies to continually improve quality assurance processes.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
  • Manage and maintain ISO 9001 or equivalent certification processes.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality performance, standards, and compliance.
  • Ensure documentation of all quality assurance activities, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing QA/QC functions across multiple sites/plants.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in quality management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
