Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee QAQC activities. You will manage a team ensuring quality standards are met while promoting ISO certification. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering, possesses at least 3 years of experience in quality and manufacturing, and has strong analytical and management skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. This role includes training staff and coordinating quality programs.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To manage, supervise, monitor & organize overall quality (QAQC) daily activities in ensuring maximum utilization of all the resources provided.
• To handle, coordinate study, analysis & investigation and communicate all issues relevance to external and internal customer feedback.
• To monitor and work closely with operational team to ensure company and department quality target / KPI is achieved.
• To train, develop and maintain a team of quality personnel with satisfy skills & competency in performing their respective functions and tasks.
• Review overall quality control and assurance plan and make necessary recommendation and amendment from time to time for continuous improvement.
• To ensure all the resources of inspection & testing (machines & equipment) are well maintained and methods of inspection & testing are being adhered strictly to achieve accurate results.
• Responsible for NPD of decoration (decal) development and the NPD quality monitoring.
• Promote quality awareness among the employees by organizing and conducting quality awareness activities / quality program / quality training.
• To ensure all necessary records and reports are kept and maintained and ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and reported on time.
• Responsible in securing ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification and assist in maintaining ISO45001 certification.
• Continuously promote and maintain ‘5S’ and safety within Quality Section.
• Executing other duties as and when requested by the Manager or his/her representatives.

Job Requirements

• At least degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years working experience in quality and manufacturing field.
• Possess good analytical, technical and management skill.
