Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the QA Manager in overseeing QA gates to ensure only quality products are delivered to customers.
• Ensure a steady flow of materials necessary for operating the manufacturing line.
• Support the implementation of the factory’s Quality System.
• Arrange manpower to plan and conduct testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Analyze the weekly expediting report and prepare a critical list for distribution to all quality engineers and managers.
• Maintain and organize all quality records for future reference.
• Liaise closely with the production team regarding product quality issues.
• Ensure inspection and test methods are properly executed and effective in detecting defective products.
• Assist in analyzing QA-related problems.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar capacity.
• Experience in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Special knowledge: ISO standards, QA principles, and QC inspection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Strong data analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in business needs.
• Ability to work in a 3-shift rotation schedule.
