Job summary

A company in the construction industry is seeking a QAQC Engineer to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance in construction projects. The ideal candidate will develop and implement QA/QC procedures, conduct on-site inspections, and prepare necessary documentation. With at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields and required qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or QA/QC certifications, applicants must possess strong analytical and communication skills. This position is based in Penang, Malaysia and is open only to Malaysians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant hands-on experience in QA/QC checks for welding and pipefitting.
• Must have valid CIDB SICW/e-SICW qualification.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations like ISO and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and checklists.
• Conduct on-site inspections and audits of various installations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.
