Job description

Quality engineers define quality standards for the creation of products or services. They check to make sure the products and services are in compliance with the quality standards and they coordinate quality improvements.

1. QA Engineer / Executive (prefered male candidates)

Qualifications

• Must have at least minimum diploma in any discipline
• Must be skilled in computers and leadership, have at least 2 years working experience

Min training

• 5S and Safety Training
• Problem Solving, 7 QC Tools and 5 Core Tools

Responsibilities

• To compile reports, analyze and tabulate quantitative data of non-conformance parts/products for further evaluation and action, including but not limited to the defects caused by suppliers and problem that impact customer (Warranty Claim, Product Return, 8D Report, etc.).
• To work and co-ordinate with other related department in order to achieve quality products that conform to customer requirement.
• To co-ordinate the troubleshooting and problem solving of non-conformance parts.
• To assist the implementation of internal improvement activities that improves the product quality and work efficiency.
• To work and liaise with Production Department to improve on any non-adherence activities to the Job Instruction (JI) and 5S.
• To work with QC Team for control methods and checking frequency determination.
• To follow up with supplier on the raw material / child part Defective Countermeasure and Improvement Action Plan and Execution.
• To maintain the IATF 16949 system and documentation.
• To play roles as Document Control Center (DCC).
• To execute related audit (IQA, 5S Audit & Layer Audit) and monitor the CAR issuance/ closure.
• To monitor and ensure the calibration activities is within the time plan.
• To monitor the ECR/ECN and ensure the execution if followed the specification and timing plan.
• To maintain the Incoming Material Inspection Standard (IMIS).
• To undertake additional assignment/ jobs from superior from time to time.
