Job summary

A local auto parts trading company in Selangor is looking for a candidate with at least a Diploma and 1-3 years of experience in the shipping or logistics industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication in English, Malay, and Mandarin is required, with preference given to those fluent in Mandarin. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders and supplier relations to ensure timely delivery of materials. This role offers a 5-day work week, Mon-Fri, from 9am to 6pm.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin will be preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin‑speaking clients.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Manage MY PO processing and maintenance and non‑trade purchase.

Source and procure machinery, equipment, spare parts, consumables, subcontracted services, and other materials required for manufacturing plant operations in a timely and cost‑effective manner.

Source the potential suppliers, and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Study and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality delivery.

Maintain strong relationships with local and regional vendors.

Work closely with the Sales team and Sales and Support team for an effective and smooth shipping and purchase processes.

Liaise with forwarder and warehouse for inbound delivery arrangement.

Liaise with marketing on stock arrangement.
