Job summary

A leading international engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Purchasing Officer to support procurement operations and ensure timely sourcing of materials. The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in Business Management or a related field, and experience in purchasing or procurement. Proficiency in MS Office and Korean language skills are advantageous. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits to be discussed during the interview.

Shinsung E&G Malaysia is part of the global Shinsung E&G group, a recognised leader in clean‑room, semiconductor, data‑centre and engineering solutions. The company specialises in construction and installation of clean‑room infrastructure and other engineering projects for high‑tech industries.

We are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our team and support procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and smooth coordination with suppliers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase materials and equipment for ongoing projects.
  • Collect, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and manage stock levels to ensure timely project support.
  • Perform general administrative duties and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide communication support between the Korean HQ and project teams.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in Korean (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus to communication with our HQ.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with immediate availability.
Work Arrangement
  • This is a full-time, on‑site position (Monday to Friday).
