Under its massive expansion programme, we are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Purchasing Manager (Procurement) with the opportunity to develop a professional future career growth within the group to be based at Jitra, Kedah.

Responsibility

• Oversee the day-to-day purchasing process from requisition to delivery
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and materials, complying to relevant laws, regulations and Procurement policy and procedures.
• Source, evaluate, select and maintain business relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms for best total cost of ownership
• Manage and supervise, assign tasks and provide guidance to the team

Requirements

• Qualification and Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Technical Knowledge / Skills: Proficient in ERP Systems for managing purchase orders or supplier data; Proficient in procurement software, e.g. SAP-Ariba on Sourcing and Supplier Lifecycle Performance
• People's Knowledge / Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills; Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration activities; Knowledge in import requirement and procedure
