Qualifications

Purchasing Executive / Technical Sourcing Executive

We are expanding and are now hiring for the following vacancies: Purchasing Executive and Technical Sourcing Engineer.

1) Purchasing Executive

Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's goods and services purchasing function. It involves planning and directing materials and supplies to reduce costs and improve quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue and monitor purchase orders for indirect materials to ensure on‑time delivery to user departments.
  • Monitor on‑time delivery of outsourced processes such as machining, cleaning, and surface finishing.
  • Ensure purchased products meet customer specifications.
  • Secure competitive price quotations (two or more quotes) for all purchases.
  • Maintain price lists, regular purchases, supplier information, and purchase orders in the system.
  • Document all phases of the purchasing process to facilitate internal and external audit.
  • Assist in shipment arrangements, invoice creation, packing lists, and schedule pickup with FedEx, UPS, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Strong PC computer skills.
  • Fluent spoken, written, and reading English.
2) Technical Sourcing Engineer

Position Summary: This role requires strong technical knowledge of fluid systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Identification and Evaluation
    • Identify potential suppliers for fluid system components and equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, wire harness component).
    • Evaluate suppliers based on technical capability, quality control processes, capacity, and financial stability.
    • Conduct site visits and audits to assess supplier capabilities and compliance with standards.
  • Supplier Selection and Negotiation
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and specifications for fluid system components.
    • Lead supplier selection based on technical expertise, quality, delivery, and cost considerations.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve optimal cost and quality outcomes.
  • Technical Support and Documentation
    • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders on fluid system components and equipment.
    • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with requirements.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality components.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Work closely with procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure on‑time availability of fluid system components.
    • Identify and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and improve overall efficiency.
    • Monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify potential new suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain management, preferably in the fluid systems industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fluid system components such as valves, pumps, pipes, and fittings.
  • Familiarity with SEMI industry standards and regulations related to fluid systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
