A manufacturing company located in Klang City, Malaysia, is seeking a professional to monitor order status, ensure inspection of new products, and manage stock levels effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers. This position involves responsibility for stock requisitions, managing supplier complaints, and preparing reports. Strong communication skills are essential to this role.
Monitor order status and follow‑up with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays
Ensure new product is sent to lab for inspection
Analyse stock movements and trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels
Follow up the complaint of products and replacement
Prepare Stock Requisition Form, Conversion Requisition Form
Key in GRN in system when goods received
Update closing stock summary to account department
Source for supplier
Prepare Product Development Form and Vendor Profile
Compute MSP for trading items
Prepare ISO reports (Approved Supplier List, Supplier Price Confirmation List for Top 10 Suppliers, Vendor Performance Evaluation Form)
Procurement Processes: Understanding of sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing policies
Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory control methods to optimize stock levels
Supplier Relations: Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Analytical Skills: Competence in analyzing market trends and pricing
Attention to Detail: Precision in processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for effective interactions
