Purchasing Assistant (China Sourcing + Market Trend Explorer)

Responsibilities:

• Explore the market – visit local stores and hot spots to spot trending products
• Source items from 1688 / Taobao / Alibaba (snacks, lifestyle, toys, etc.)
• Meet and talk to suppliers – build great relationships & negotiate deals
• Help manage stock levels, process orders, and follow up on deliveries
• Stay ahead of trends – your picks might be the next hit in our claw machines!

Who You Are:

• Detail-oriented & self-motivated
• Comfortable with market visits & supplier meetups
• Can read/write Chinese (for China sourcing)
• Great at communicating and negotiating
• Familiar with or open to learning Google Sheets / Excel
• Know or willing to learn how to use 1688, Taobao, etc.
• Mix of office + on-the-go work (it’s not a boring desk job!)
