A dynamic company based in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to assist in all purchasing functions. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in related fields, with a diploma or degree and an accounting background preferred. Key responsibilities include maintaining purchasing records, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the finance department. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Immediate availability is preferred.
Assist and support the purchasing department in all purchasing functions.
Assist in preparing and issuing Purchase Order for both local and overseas purchases.
Coordinate and support all internal departments and branches with forecast orders, quotations, costings and delivery schedule.
Maintain and updating purchasing records and documentation in the system.
Coordination with suppliers and forwarders in shipping/delivery matters, order processes and custom procedures related to imports.
Assist in monitoring and tracking order shipping/delivery schedule to ensure timely receipt of goods, as well as payment to suppliers.
Assisting accounts and finance department for any other accounts related duties assigned.
