METEORIC MANUFACTURER SDN BHD is seeking a Purchasing Assistant (Mandarin Speaker) to join our thriving Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics team based in Balakong, Selangor. This full‑time role will see you play a key part in our procurement processes, working closely with our suppliers to meet the company's purchasing needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in sourcing, selecting, and evaluating suppliers for raw materials, goods, and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery from vendors.
• Communicate with suppliers — especially Mandarin‑speaking suppliers — to follow up on quotations, orders, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain and update purchasing records, price lists, and supplier databases.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, warehouse, accounts) on purchasing needs.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in preparing purchasing reports.
• Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies and cost‑control requirements.

What we’re looking for
