The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.

Job Overview

You will be responsible to carry out the daily operations and related matters pertaining to defects and other issues of the property development project tasked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to owners’ feedback professionally in compliance with E&O’s service standards and provide reasonable alternatives in resolving customers’ feedback
  • Follow up and document all building defects (including reports and photos), in collaboration with departments and contractors to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare for handing‑over procedures and carry out random pre‑handing over inspections before formal handover
  • Coordinate with contractors for Pre‑VP (Vacant Possession) briefings to resolve any handover and defect liability period (DLP) issues
  • Assist in drawing up the procedures for opening and closing defect lists, ensuring timely submission to the Manager for smooth, error‑free transitions and progress tracking
  • Establish strong relationship with local authorities and maintain good rapport with owners/tenants/residents
Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Building and Facilities Management, Property Management or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in attending to high rise facilities and customer service in Property Management / Real Estate industry with exposure in defects rectification an advantage
  • Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to applyAble to work independently, possess initiative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with the ability to speak Mandarin considered an added advantage
