Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin is compulsory for communication with clients.

About the job

This is a project-based sales role responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing ongoing projects within the construction and building materials sector. You will work closely with developers, architects, consultants, contractors, and applicators to promote specialised coating and wall-finishing solutions, ensuring product specifications and successful project execution.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
• Promote a range of architectural coatings and wall-finishing products to project stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations and technical briefings to clients.
• Liaise with developers, architects, consultants, and main contractors for product specifications.
• Coordinate with building management offices and applicators to support project requirements.
• Follow up on sales activities and ensure timely payment collection.
• Work closely with internal teams to support overall sales and project execution.

Job Requirements:

• 2–3 years of sales experience are preferred; exposure to building materials or project sales is an advantage
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with strong work ethics and willingness to learn
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for project engagements
• Fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Being able to speak, read, and write in Mandarin is compulsory for this role as this position requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients
