A prominent construction management firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee healthcare facility projects from pre-construction through to handover. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or related field and at least 15 years of project management experience in healthcare facilities. Key responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating consultants, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Manage and coordinate the project across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Develop and monitor the master project schedule, milestones, and progress reporting. Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and quality project delivery. Review and verify contractors’ and consultants’ submissions for compliance with approved design, specifications, and statutory requirements. Monitor site progress, quality control, safety, and environmental compliance. Identify and resolve technical, coordination, and site-related issues. Monitor project budget and contractor claims in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor. Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to the Client. Chair and attend site, consultant, and client meetings. Coordinate project completion, inspections, as-built documentation, and handover.
