A technology consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead an SAP rollout project. The ideal candidate will have SAP FICO experience and proven capabilities in managing projects within a multinational environment. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, preferably with a background in SAP FICO, to lead the on‑site execution of an MNC SAP rollout project. This role serves as the primary bridge between the client’s local stakeholders and the offshore delivery team, ensuring requirements are properly captured, deliverables meet expectations, and the project progresses according to plan.
Serve as the main project contact for the client, providing leadership and guidance throughout the rollout.
Manage key stakeholders to ensure their needs, concerns, and expectations are understood and proactively addressed.
Facilitate effective communication between onsite client teams and the offshore delivery team.
Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, validated, and communicated to offshore teams.
Review and monitor offshore deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations and project scope.
Identify and close any gaps between client requirements and delivered outputs.
Develop, manage, and track project plans, timelines, and major milestones.
Monitor overall project progress to ensure deliverables are completed on time and in full.
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive timely resolution or escalation when necessary.
Be present on‑site during all critical project phases, such as UAT, data migration, cutover, and go‑live activities.
Coordinate real‑time issue resolution with offshore teams to minimize disruption.
Provide hands‑on guidance to client teams during key activities.
Prepare and deliver status reports, project dashboards, and progress updates to client leadership and internal management.
Ensure proper documentation of decisions, changes, issues, and actions throughout the project lifecycle.
Uphold project governance standards and compliance requirements.
