We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software development within the engineering domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timely execution, and customer satisfaction, while effectively managing geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development projects in the engineering domain from initiation to closure.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent client handling and satisfaction.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all project-related communication, queries, and escalations.
- Ensure on‑time and high‑quality project delivery, proactively identifying risks and corrective actions.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/Hybrid) to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
- Own overall project quality, ensuring adherence to defined standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Requirements
- Masters/bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Experience working with international clients and multi‑time‑zone teams.
- Proven experience in software development projects within the engineering domain.
- Strong customer handling and stakeholder management skills, including global clients.
- Hands‑on experience managing cross‑functional and distributed teams.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile project execution.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
