Job description

Lead end-to-end project management for software testing in the smart product domain, including formulating project plans, defining milestone nodes, allocating resources reasonably, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, with quality, and in quantity. Take full responsibility for the overall project outcomes.

Deeply participate in the design of testing strategies and the implementation of testing plans for smart products (including hardware, software, and firmware collaboration). Proficient in various testing methods (black-box testing, white-box testing, automated testing, etc.), capable of independently addressing core technical challenges in projects to ensure test coverage and product quality.

Be fully responsible for the management of testing teams and development teams, including personnel deployment, skill development, goal setting, and performance evaluation. Establish efficient collaboration mechanisms to enhance the overall technical capabilities and delivery efficiency of the teams.

Lead the development of testing tools, the construction of automated testing frameworks, and the optimization of testing processes. Drive technological innovation and process iteration, balance testing efficiency and product quality, and reduce project costs.

Act as the core for cross-departmental and cross-border communication. Efficiently engage with domestic and foreign customers, partners, and internal teams using English and Japanese to clarify requirements, synchronize progress, and provide feedback on issues, maintaining good cooperative relationships.

Establish a project risk early warning and control mechanism. Timely identify and analyze potential project risks (technical, resource, schedule, etc.), formulate response plans, and regularly report project progress, resource utilization, and risk status to the management.

(I) Hard Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Information, Software Engineering, or related majors. Over 5 years of experience in software testing project management, and more than 3 years of relevant work experience in smart product (e.g., IoT devices, smart hardware, smart terminals) testing and development.

Possess solid software testing technical skills, familiar with the collaborative testing process of smart product hardware and software. Proficient in the use of mainstream testing tools (such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, Appium, etc.), and have the ability to develop test scripts or tools (proficient in at least one programming language such as Python/Java).

Have team management experience, having led at least 5 or more testing/cross-functional teams to complete the delivery of complex projects. Possess excellent resource coordination, goal decomposition, and team motivation capabilities.

English: CET-6 or equivalent, capable of fluent verbal communication and written reporting, and able to independently engage with international customers and conduct cross-border project collaboration. Japanese: N2 or equivalent, with business communication and document reading/writing capabilities.

Familiar with project management methodologies (such as Waterfall, Agile Scrum), with clear project planning, schedule control, and problem-solving capabilities. Able to handle scenarios such as parallel projects and requirement changes.

Possess a strong sense of responsibility and pressure resistance, with clear goal orientation. Able to efficiently promote project delivery in complex environments.

Have rigorous logical thinking, excellent cross-departmental collaboration awareness, and communication skills. Good at coordinating internal and external resources to address project bottlenecks.

Pay attention to the technical trends in the smart product and software testing industries, with continuous learning ability and innovation awareness. Willing to explore new technologies and methods in project applications.

Have good professional ethics and team spirit, be rigorous and meticulous, and focus on detail control and delivery quality.

(III) Bonus Points

Hold relevant project management certifications such as PMP or Information Systems Project Manager.

Have experience in cross-border project management for smart products, and be familiar with domestic and foreign industry standards and delivery specifications.

Possess experience in firmware testing, embedded system testing, or IoT communication protocol (e.g., MQTT, 5G) testing.

Have led the construction of large-scale smart product testing platforms or automated testing systems.
