Qualifications

Job description

Plan, design, and implement telecommunications network infrastructure.

Install, integrate, and commission network equipment (RAN, transmission, IP).

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot service issues and outages.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Analyze KPIs and recommend network optimization improvements.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and acceptance records.

Ensure compliance with MCMC regulations, safety standards, and company SOPs.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ICT, or equivalent.

Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered.

Experience:

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in telecommunications networks is preferred.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Experience in 5G or IP‑based transmission networks.

Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of 4G LTE / 5G network.

Understanding of RAN, Core Network, and Transmission system.

Basic IP networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing).

Secures tower/fibre route sites, negotiates leases, liaises with authorities.

Familiarity with RF planning, fiber optics, or microwave systems is an advantage.

Manages MCMC, local authority, JKR, and environmental compliance.

Well versed in all Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Power Point.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Able to work independently under pressure.

Willing to perform site work, standby, or call‑out duty.
