Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Klang City is looking for a Project Engineer to develop project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of engineering designs. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of project execution experience and advanced skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 3 years of experience in project execution within mechanical or engineering fields.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for engineering design and layouts.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Advanced in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point and outlook).

Responsibilities

Overview

Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, deliverables. Coordinate with stakeholders (including management, production and quality team) to define project scope and specifications. Monitor and control project progress, adjusting as necessary to stay within timelines and budgets. Ensure that all projects are delivered according to specifications and meet quality standards. Liaise with procurement team to ensure all necessary materials, equipment and resources are sourced and delivered on time. Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Prepare and report regular project progress to Production Manager. Preparing tendering document, costing and bill of material. To support the development of basic and detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD and other relevant tools.

Job Requirements
