About the Job

The Project Engineer manages the technical and operational aspects of projects focused on Power Transformers and High Voltage primary equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, coordinating, and ensuring the quality control and site execution of projects.
• Ensuring project objectives are met within the designated time and budget.
• Working collaboratively with the Grid Technical Sales, engineering, and Commercial Administration (CA) teams to execute contracts, focusing on delivery, quality, safety, and achieving targeted revenue.
• Familiar with high-voltage transmission primary equipment and various engineering standards (Toshiba, JIS/IEC/IEEE).
• Ensuring that all engineering operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Executing the awarded scope of work and managing vendors to ensure product/service delivery meets contract terms, schedule, and quality standards.
• Providing support for reviewing drawings and submitting technical specifications from vendors.
• Maintaining the project document list.
• Extensive liaison and coordination:
• Liaising directly with the Project Customer and vendors.
• Maintaining open communication with vendors.
• Participating in site visits and meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve project issues.
• Coordinating and communicating effectively with internal departments to keep information aligned.
• Collaborating closely with team members on assigned scopes.
• Supporting preparation of RFQ, RFP, tenders, and bids for new projects, reporting on project issues, successes, and technical needs, and learning/applying company standards and procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• ≥ 5 years working experience in primary equipment, especially in 132kV power transformer and high voltage primary equipment and above
• Fluent in communication
• Ambitious and aggressive character with extensive technical knowledge and experience
• Project-oriented and able to handle projects independently
• Willing to travel and work outstation to get involved in the entire cycle of project
