A construction company in Malaysia is seeking candidates for a project execution role. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and ideally two years of project-related experience. Key responsibilities include supervising construction activities, maintaining documentation, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in CAD software.
Execute sitework with proper documentation such as site diary, request for inspection forms, etc.
Coordinates, schedules and supervises project execution to ensure progress of work and project completion time are within target / schedule.
Supervise and check work installed to ensure compliance and good quality of work.
Monitor subcon/workers progress onsite to avoid delays to the work schedule.
Attend all project coordination / technical / any other required meetings.
Immediately escalates any issues or problems that arise to project manager and follow up to ensure the action is being taken.
Senior Engineers to act as team leader and coordinate work among junior engineers.
Builds and maintains good relationships with other external parties i.e. main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers / vendors to facilitate current and future work.
Liaise with team members, consultants, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors on work instruction, sequencing and to solve other project implementation issues to ensure smooth work progress.
Communicates frequently with sub-contractor/worker and monitor / control the installation work and arrangement according to requirement / expectation.
Submit drawings/materials/document to consultant/client related to sitework to ensure sitework can proceed accordingly with proper documentation such as transmittal, technical submission forms, etc.
Draft and submit daily / weekly / monthly report as required by main contractor / client and ensure proper documentation and filing for traceability and ISO compliance.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other relevant professional certification.
Valid Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) certification.
Preferable at least 2 years experience.

Communication skills to coordinate and work with a variety of different stakeholders such as consultants, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Physically fit and able to withstand the conditions at construction site.
Able to work both independently and with all levels of management.
Able to communicate and write well in English Language and Bahasa Malaysia.
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and able to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (i.e. AutoCAD, etc.).
