Responsibilities

• Assist and report to the Project Director/Project Manager in day‑to‑day project planning & implementation and all technical aspects.
• Instruct, lead, supervise, and monitor subcontractors to meet the proposed schedule.
• Study drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements and site conditions.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet project objectives.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
• Monitor and report on project progress, manage supplier activities on site for technical matters, and ensure timely issuance of construction drawings and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
• Prepare material requisition forms for construction materials and monitor machinery and material wastage by subcontractors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Collaborate with the design team to optimise engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
