Job summary

A leading technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Project and Application Engineer. Responsibilities include programming hardware such as IoT devices and PLCs, managing project implementation, and providing support services. Ideal candidates should have basic knowledge of electrical systems and industrial communication protocols. Familiarity with BMS/EMS/SCADA systems and programming skills are advantageous. A minimum of 1–3 years experience is required.

We are looking for a Project and Application Engineer at our office in Malaysia and welcome your application.

Job Description

Configure and program hardware, including IoT devices, PLCs, and gateways.

Implement UI graphics and programming for SCADA and monitoring systems.

Develop application systems using existing software platforms according to BMS/EMS project requirements.

Prepare project documentation, such as drawings, signal lists, operation manuals, and testing reports.

Manage project implementation and perform troubleshooting.

Provide testing, commissioning, and on-site support services.

Overseas travel may be required for specific projects.

Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirement

Basic knowledge on electrical systems.

Basic knowledge on industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus and OPC UA.

Familiar with BMS/EMS/SCADA is an advantage.

Experience with Zenon or Ignition software is a plus.

Familiar with programming is an advantage.

Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical mindset.

Positive attitude, self-motivated, Team Player.

A minimum of 1–3 years of relevant working experience is required for this position.
