Job summary

A leading semiconductor company is seeking a skilled professional for a production testing role focused on quality improvement and efficiency. The candidate should hold a BS in Electrical Engineering or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of analog/digital circuits and programming capabilities in C are essential. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. This role involves analyzing production testing issues and collaborating with subcontract testing facilities to enhance solutions and quality management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ related experience in production testing area.
• Willing to travel in China and worldwide subcontractor.
• Working experience in power IC testing area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and dispose abnormal production testing problems in subcontract testing factory.
• Import production testing solutions from MPS factory to subcontract testing factory.
• Investigate and follow up the quality cases in subcon’s testing factory.

This role focuses on production testing area for power semiconductor chips (consumer-level, industrial-level, automotive-level and others). It involves a deep understanding of production testing solutions, processes, technologies and methods at the MPS’s end and partner’s (subcontractor) ends, as well as research and improvement of new testing solutions, and overall management enhancement of the quality and efficiency, and cost reduction for partner-end production testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and dispose abnormal production testing problems in subcon testing factory, including setup abnormalities, process abnormalities, and post-testing data abnormalities, etc.
• Import production testing solutions/processes/systems/etc. from MPS factory to subcon testing factory.
• Realize company’s capacity expansion at the subcon testing factory.
• Investigate and follow up the quality cases in subcon’s testing factory, and drive the complete resolution.
• Collaborate closely with the subcon’s factory to jointly research and develop new solutions for quality improvement, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction. Provide clear reports on these solutions and improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product PTE to complete daily maintenance of test hardware and software.
• Strongly support other engineering team for subcon production test related cases.

Qualifications

• BS or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Micro-Electronic, Automation, Instrument Science & Engineering or relevant, 3+ years’ related experience.
• Good knowledge on analog/digital circuit, programming language (minimum is C).
• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English (reading & writing).
• Willing to travel in China and worldwide subcontractor.
• Working experience in power IC testing area is a plus.
