Job summary

A manufacturing company in Port Klang seeks a Production-cum-Safety Executive to oversee maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance. Candidates should have a diploma in a related field and at least 2 years' experience in maintenance, safety, or facility management roles. Key responsibilities include updating maintenance records, conducting fire safety checks, and collaborating with HR for safety training. The role requires proficiency in ERP systems and knowledge of Malaysian regulations. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, safety, or facility management roles.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory bodies such as JKKP, DOE, and ST.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety systems, scheduled waste management, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Update daily maintenance activities in the ERP system.
  • Conduct daily checks on gravimetric machines.
  • Ensure compliance with Chemical Health Risk Assessment.
  • Coordinate annual drinking water tests and submit reports.
